Saint Seiya Elysion-hen News Update!

Finally the dates for the Elysion-hen episodes have been confirmed. They will be aired two at a time in March, May and August 2008, giving us a total of six episodes for the final arc of the Hades Chapter. The DVDs will be published only a few days after the TV broadcast. And to get you really excited, you can now admire a pic of the five Bronze Boys in their Divine Cloths! Finally we can see Cancer Manigoldo not only in action, but also using a new attack! It's called Acubens, which incidentally is the name of Alpha Cancri, the main (although not the brightest) star in the Cancer constellation - an Arabic word meaning 'The Claw'. Cancer Gold Saint Manigoldo appears on the scene after our favourite trio gets into trouble with the puppeteer once more. Saint Seiya Jump Remix Returns!

Some years ago in 2002, news about the first 13 OVAs of Hades were published in the Japanese magazine Super Jump. In the same year in September, the Saint Seiya Jump Remix was published. It contained a lot of fresh information regarding the 13 OVAs. Why am I telling you old news, you ask? Well, if you go to http://remix.shueisha.co.jp (a page dedicated to the Jump Remix), you can see that the Jump Remix of Saint Seiya will be published once again starting December 3, 2007. Expected in these are news about the upcoming Elysion OVAs.

Currently there is only information about 2 chapters that will be published:
12/03 - "Bronze Saints Chapter Vol.1 - Saint of Athena".
12/17 - "Black Saints Chapter Vol.2 - Phoenix! The warrior from hell"

SaintSeiyaFan.com Christmas Fanart Contest!

The holiday season is fast approaching, and we wanted to do something fun for you guys, so, SaintSeiyaFan.com will host a Christmas fanart contest!
It basically consists of you guys making a banner for SSF.

The rules are simple:
1) It has to be a Saint Seiya theme.
2) It must consist of your own work (you can use screenshots and official pictures but not other fanart unless it's your own)
3) It has to have a christmassy theme to it =)
4) It must be 722 pixels wide and 196 pixels high.
5) It should be < 250 KB and in JPG, GIF, or PNG.
6) Finally, and very importantly, the banner must abide by the rules of SSF, which you can read here: Forum Rules

All entries must be submitted in this topic by Dec 2, 2007 at 24:00 GMT (midnight)!

The winner will have their banner put up as SaintSeiyaFan's banner for the holiday season on the main site and get a cool e-mail addy (your-name-here@saintseiyafan.com)! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Saint Seiya Elysion-hen to be broadcast March 2008

Toei has announced on the Official Saint Seiya Website that the last arc of Hades will be aired in March 2008. No one really knows why on March and not on December 2007 like last year, but hopefully it's to make the animation better. And as usual Saint Seiya will be available in Pay Per View (Japan only). Feel free to discuss about Elysion-hen in our forum by clickin' here.

Well, today it's All Saints Day, and Trevor worked hard again to provide you with the scans of chapter 59 of Lost Canvas! After we witnessed Yato's and Yuzuriha's predicaments in the last two installments, this chapter returns to Tenma who has to face the puppeteer who keeps the souls of the dead children under a spell with the music of a huge organ.
